Course Description

The White Card course aims to raise awareness regarding injuries and fatalities in the workplace and teach the best practices for eliminating or reducing risks of accidents at the site.

  • What is the unit code? CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
  • Duration of Course:  Course duration for training and assessment is 1 day.
  • How do I book?  All you need to do is click  the enrol tab and secure your spot.
  • Is this an official White Card License accepted nation wide? Yes, you need to be careful as there are a lot of scammers out there. This is a license issued by Safework NSW.
  • When do I receive my certificate? You will receive your certificate from us on the same day as well as a SOT slip so you can start work immediately. You will receive a license card from Safework in the mail a short time after completion of your course.

Who Is This Course For?

It is necessary that you complete a White Card course if you work in the Construction Industry. So, anyone involved in construction, including employees and employers are the target audience for this course.

Language, Literacy & Numeracy

Allowances can be made for participants with language, literacy & numeracy issues. If you experience any learning difficulties, please make us aware at the time of your booking & the trainer will be notified prior to your attendance of the course. All students attending a course with NHSC or any affiliated third parties, must either complete and LLN test, or declare that they do not require assistance in LLN.

RPL

RPL recognises that people who already have the knowledge and skills required for competency in various elements of units of an accredited training package should not be required to re-learn what they already know. The process of RPL also takes into account that various competencies can be acquired through:
